On March 31, the 2021 Working Conference of Higher Financial Education Branch of China Association of Higher Education was held in our school.Zhang Aihua from China Association of Higher Education, the chairman Shi Jianjun, and Zhang Guocai, the general secretary of Higher Financial Education Branch of China Association of Higher Education, and Ma Peisheng, one vice president of Shanxi University of Finance and Economics attended the meeting. More than 90 academicleading guests from nearly 40 membership units such as Shanghai University of Finance and economics and the Central South University of Economics and Law, as well as the heads in charge of major functional departments of each university engaged in the exchange and discussion.The participants fully learned the requirements and spirit of the China Association of Higher Education for the work of its financial education branch, summarized and reported the work in 2020, and formulated a work plan for the work in 2021.

Director-general Shi Jianjunpointed out that the financial education branch should adhere to academic and high-quality service orientation with the principle of standardization and innovation, produce high-quality achievements, and strive to run the President Forum well, fully complete the work of the higher financial education branch in 2021, trying to build the branch into a high-quality academic organization.

Zeng Pan, the deputy director of the Development Planning Department of Southwestern University of Finance and Economics, introduced the topic selection of “The 12th China Higher Financial Education Presidents Forum", and the participants had a heated discussion around the topics. The meeting also invited He Zhiqiang, vice president of Hebei University of Economics and Business, Zhang Weiguo, director of Academic Affairs Office of Shanxi University of Finance and Economics, Han Jingyu, director of Shanghai Financial Intelligent Engineering Center, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, Professor Lei Pengfei, Center for Higher Education Research of Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, Wang Yubao, librarian of Shanxi University of Finance and Economics. They, on behalf of the working groups of the branch, carried out working reports and experience sharing in scientific research, educational affairs, experiment center building, first-class disciplines, and library construction.
