The Spring Employment Talk for the Graduates of 2019 was held in our School with Great Success

On April 11th, there was a long row of orange tents staying in the open land in front of the library of the south campus. Looking from far away, it looked like a long dragon. More than 240 companies with more than 480 representatives came to this Spring Employment Talk.

Almost 400 companies have signed up for the Employment Talk. After screening and checking, our school chose companies that meet the following standards: 1. Registered capital of more than 5 million RMB; 2. Need for students in majors offered by our university; 3. Have potential of development and great competitiveness. The chosen companies are from various regions, including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangdong and other cities around the country. Among all the companies, 166 are based in Shanxi province, 79 outside Shanxi province and 50 are state-owned companies. They provided 1330 job vacancies with the need of 5853 employees in total. And the recruitment fields et.al. contained accounting, financial management, finance, international economy and trade, human resource, business administration, logistics management, e-commerce, marketing, political management and law, which covered the most of our school’s majors.

At least 160 of all the participating companies participated for the second time. Some employees gave feedback that the graduates of our school have high and solid professional skills. They can not only identify their roles in work very quickly, but also show a strong adaptability in various posts.

To promote the employment and entrepreneurship of college graduates through multiple channels, this Employment Talk of our school established cooperation with the Shanxi Bureau for the Development and Promotion of Small Businesses, by which 10 excellent middle and small businesses were selected to recruit in our school and make contact with graduates through online and offline interviews. Besides, our school built a convenient interaction platform between the graduates and the employers by adopting the mode of “Internet plus recruitment”. Meanwhile, our school tapped into social resources fully and strengthened collaboration with employers. Finally, we are grateful for the support and favors of China Unicom and the Overseas Student company of New Oriental Group. The two companies provided material resources and artificial service for this Employment Talk.
