Ding Yaowu, the Secretary of SXUFE Party Committee, delivered a speech entitled "seeking truths from facts, working diligently and striving to promote the high-quality development of Shanxi University of Finance and Economics".He pointed out that 2022 was the year of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, the first year for Shanxi Province to promote high-quality development in an all-round way, and the key year for the university to build an application-oriented university with a high level.First, we should grasp the general trend and seize the opportunities. As long as we catch the opportunities, make scientific analysis, planning and promotion, and make full use of policies, we will surely accomplish a number of practical, important and major events.Second, we should practice skills and overcome difficulties. Under the dual pressure of low development quality and insufficient school resources, we should solve the difficulties of ideological style, path dependence and countermeasures, use new ideas to deal with problems, use efficient methods to break the ice, and takesubstantial initiatives to improve the current situation.We should innovate the development model in solving contradictions and obstacles, and expand the development space in the innovative development model.Third, we should be more realistic and pragmatic, and pay close attention to implementation. Tian Xiangyu, the President and the Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of SXUFE, made areport entitled "Dare to explore, focus on implementation and fully open up a new pattern of innovative development".The report pointed out that the general idea of school work in 2022 is to take Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era as guidance and take the implementation of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China as the main line and establish morality and cultivate people as the foundation. Furthermore, we should focus on the goal of building a high-level research and application-oriented university, seek better development based on ourselves,Shanxi province and the whole country, take the guidance of Party building, discipline education, the improvement of teaching quality, the breakthrough of scientific research, the efficiency of talents, the expansion of resources and the improvement of people's livelihood as the basic point, seek truth from facts, work diligently, andwelcome the successful opening of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China with new achievements in high-quality development.The report points out that around the overall layout of "1137" with one main line, one foundation, three footholds and seven basis points, our school plans to promote 30 major tasks. We should focus on major work, strengthen our determination, clarify ideas and measures and pay close attention to implementation. The obstacles that restrict the high-quality development should be resolutely removed and efforts should be made to find a new way to run the school with the reality of the school and build a high-level research and application-oriented university.
