International exchange and cooperation delegation went to Lanzhou to discuss cooperation with the University of Opava Silesia in Czech Republic

On October 29, as was invited, the heads in charge of the International Exchange and Cooperation Office, Teaching Affair Office,School of Finance, School of Acounting went to Lanzhou to have talks on intercollegiate exchanges and cooperation between the two universities with professor DanielStavárek,the dean of Business School, associate professor RomanŠperka, the vice dean of Foreign Affairs Office, and associate professor MichalTvrdoň,the vice dean of scientific research of the University of Opava Silesia in Czech Republic.

The participants from both sides actively discussed the specific cooperation projects, conducted in-depth and concrete discussions  and reach consensus on the mutual recognition of undergraduate credits, the "3+1" double degree, the joint training of master students, the exchange of teachers and the joint research. The relevant heads in charge of the International Exchange and Cooperation Office, the Teaching Affairs Office, the School of Finance, and the School of Accounting also actively exchanged views with representatives of the University of Oppasi Silesia in the field of student exchanges, teacher training, and scientific research cooperation. They also made many levels of in-depth discussions on issues about course matching, language scores, cost budget, etc.

Two sides planed to start a Chinese visiting scholars program in the Czech Republic in January 2019. In September 2019, the students of SXUFE will start a short-term exchange program in the University of Opava Silesia in Czech Republic, and the teachers from its economic and management departments would visit our University to give lectures. Also,they made a further communication on undergraduate "3+1" program, program of joint training on master's double degree, the undergraduate-graduate accelerated degree, as well as the course matching and credit recognition of various student exchange programs.
