On the morning of November 16, The Second General Secretary Meeting of Shanxi University Alliance (International Exchange and Cooperation) was held at the International Academic Exchange Center of SXUFE. Our school hosted this meeting as a member of the alliance. The heads of the international cooperation departments of 17 sister universities including Shanxi University and Taiyuan University of Technology attended the meeting.

Shanxi University Alliance is the work organization established by the International Exchange and Cooperation Office of Shanxi Provincial Education Department  in order to further promote the internationalization of Shanxi universities, strengthen the information sharing  among colleges and universities, and enhance the level of international exchanges and cooperation. Since its establishment, the General Secretary Meeting has been organized by rotation from time to time by all member units to study and discuss issues related to international exchanges and cooperation between Shanxi universities.

Simon Futu, representative of the International Relations Department of the University of Adelaide, Australia, was invited to attend the meeting and introduced the cooperation project carried out by the University of Adelaide. The participating units conducted in-depth consultation and negotiation on the cooperation programs.
